Goodhope Service Station which was situated in Prince George Drive, Retreat, was established in 1979, where we offered petrol/ diesel, motor spares, mechanical workshop, puncture repairs, wheel balancing and wheel alignment services. Due to popularity in the tyre fitment centre, we then established Goodhope Tyres, and during the 1980’s we opened another branch in Wynberg, which was purely for selling tyres over the counter, without fitting. With expansion, Wynberg now offers tyre fitment, wheel balancing, mag wheels and wheel alignment. We then progressed to opening a branch in Woodstock and Goodwood in the early 1990’s, whereby SA Retreaders was established, and until today, still develop outstanding retreaded tyres using only the state-of-the-art technology, combined with strict quality control and only the highest safety standards. Today, Goodhope Tyres has expanded throughout the Western Cape, establishing a strong network of branches as well as a wholesale warehouse to distribute to other dealers.
